Woe to You Pharisees

Jesus confronts the influential Pharisees for their hypocrisy and other departures from God.

1. In 11:39-41, Jesus summarizes the problem with the Pharisees. In your own words, what was the problem he described? 
2. What was a “woe”? How might someone misunderstand what a “woe” is? 
3. How do you struggle with hypocrisy? What is one area in your life in which you want to fight hypocrisy? 
4. Do you influence others in a godly or an ungodly way? How can you grow or repent in this area?
