Envying the World

This psalm wrestles with an ancient struggle, namely, the struggling of the good in the face of the prosperity of the wicked. If wickedness leads to a more enjoyable life, should we all go down that path? Or from another angle, if righteousness doesn’t lead to an enjoyable life, what’s the point?

These deeply human questions only find their answer in the light of God.
